Here’s a statement about The Way Business Is Done in Albany that’s more telling than any politican’s rhetoric:
A list accounting for lobbyist contributions, showing that most of their money goes to the handful of people who control the budget and legislative process in the Capitol. The governor and the majority parties in each legislative chamber are the winners, naturally.
The list is derived from a report today released today by the New York Public Interest Research Group.
State law does not require campaigns to identify the intermediaries, or bundlers, who help pool together donations for campaigns or candidates.
